Race Details

Race Kit Distribution

  1. Race kits will be claimed from October 12 to 16, 2019.
  2. Present the following to claim your race kit:
    • Printed or screenshot of registration confirmation (online registrants)
    • Waiver copy (store registrants from month of August 2019)
    • Collection Receipt (for cash payments)
    • TNF100 Medical certificate
    • Waiver for below 18 years of age (if applicable)
  3. Runners have an option to claim their race kit in the following TNF stores only:

  4. Unclaimed race kits shall not
    be brought to the race venue.
  5. If runner cannot claim race kit
    representative can get on his/her behalf. Representative to present authorization letter from runner, runner’s scanned valid ID, and representative’s one valid ID upon claiming.
  6. If you are unable to race, another person can pick up your race kit
    on your behalf. However, the race kit will be handed out WITHOUT the bib number and timing chip. A copy of the runner’s government-issued ID and confirmation email are REQUIRED as a reference of authorization.
  7. ENTRY IS NON-TRANSFERABLE. Runners who use another registered runner's race kit shall be disqualified from the race.
  8. Note: Runners aged 18 years old and above can join any category. Those underage can only join 11km.

Stage Cut-Offs

100KM race will feature kilometer
or stage cut offs. This is to ensure the safety and well-being of the participants.

Reminder

  1. Organizers can modify the race times and cut offs before and during the race depending on the conditions
    of the race course, weather and other safety considerations. Participants who fail to reach the cut off times
    will be transported back to the finish line on a scheduled time based on
    the organizers available resources. Outside of this scheduled departures, costs incurred will be to the account of the participant.
  2. Cut-offs at these checkpoints are set accordingly to make sure all runners reached the finish line within the
    30-hour time limit.

Logistics Point (LP) and Drop-off Bags

  1. Participants have the option to turn over their drop off bag and supplies for the race at the race briefing on
    at specially assigned counters.
  2. Drop off bags and supplies must fit
    in one (1) large plastic bag to be provided by the organizer. Runners can access their drop-off bag at the Logistic Point located at Kilometer 50.
  3. Organizers will transport the bags
    at Logistic Point after 9:00 PM of October 18
    and will return it at the finish line
    after the race.
  4. Runners can reclaim their drop off bags until 12:00 noon of October 20 only. Unclaimed drop-off bags after will be disposed
    of accordingly.
  5. It is strongly suggested that no valuables be stored in the drop-off bags, the organizers will not be held accountable
    for any loss or damage to contents of the drop-off bags.

Medical Certificate

  1. Runner shall submit his/her medical certificate upon claiming of race kit.
  2. All categories are required to submit medical certificate.
  3. We will only accept the official TNF100 medical certificate which can be downloaded upon registration.

Waiver for below 18 years of age

  1. Runners below 18 years of age
    shall submit his/her waiver upon race kit claiming. This can be downloaded upon registration.
  2. Race waiver should be signed
    by parent/guardian of legal age.
  3. Note: Runners aged 18 years old and above can join any category. Those underage can only join 11km.

Reminders

  1. The chances of inclement weather at higher elevations are high. Make sure to bring the required waterproof jackets
    or windbreakers. Arm warmers, cotton and maong jackets are not allowed.
  2. It is highly recommended to bring emergency or space blankets.
  3. It is also suggested to bring at least a 2L container for your hydration and top up at every water station especially
    at AS4, AS5 and AS6. These are the toughest and hottest part of the trail course.

Rules and Regulations

  1. Organizers retain the right to modify the course, rules, and regulations, delay the start, hold any runners
    in the course or stop the race in the event of any weather disturbances
    or any unforeseen incidents in the race course. Any decisions made by
    the organizers are final.
  2. Organizers maintain the right
    to remove any participants from the race. Injuries and medical emergencies are the utmost priority.
  3. Runners must complete the whole marked course on foot under your own power.
  4. Race numbers should be visible
    at all times.
  5. Mandatory gears should be carried by the runner at all times during the race. Random checks will be conducted
    by the organizers and a runner without the mandatory gears will not be allowed to proceed with the race until the missing item
    is replaced.
  6. Runners must deposit all of their race equipments to the organizers before the race. Runners can access their gears
    in designated points of the course which will be announced during the race briefing.
  7. Runners must pass through all
    the checkpoints of race organizers.
  8. In the case of withdrawal, runners must approach the nearest checkpoint or aid station and inform the organizers.
  9. Night equipment should be worn in specific locations or time as mandated by the race organizers.
  10. Runners should follow the marked course. Failure to follow the marked course may result in penalties
    or disqualification.
  11. Cut-off times will be designated
    by the race organizers throughout the race course for safety reasons.
  12. Runners are forbidden to alter
    any directional signs, markings,
    or kilometer post found throughout
    the race course.
  13. Support crews, must follow the rules of the organizers at all times.
  14. Organizers may disqualify from racing any runner who they feel is injured
    or cannot continue.
  15. Time penalties may be imposed
    by the race organizers on runners who do not follow race rules.
  16. All protests related to the result must be made in writing and submitted to the Race Organizer within 30 minutes after the official announcement of winners. A protest fee of Php. 500.00 will be collected upon submission of every written protest.
  17. Injection of fluids or drugs (intravenous, intramuscular, subcutaneous) during the event may result in immediate disqualification.
