John ‘Stingray’ Ray Onifa has broken the 11-year-old Hong Kong Trail record on his second attempt in two weeks. The Hong Kong-based Filipino ran the 44km route in three hours, 26 minutes and 56 seconds. His effort was 13 minutes faster than the previous record of 3:39 set by William Davies in 2009 during the Greenpower race.
Last January 15, Onifa attempted to break Davies’ record. In that run, he missed by seven minutes but set the “unsupported” fastest known time (FKT) because he was given no help, food, drinks or pacing.
This record he broke is from one of oldest Ultras in Asia (Greenpower)–28 years

STINGRAY:
Wow! the Vectiv Flight has the best grip and traction I have experienced…For my HK Trail FKT this was so important with many fast technical and rocky trails.
I also find the cushioning perfect The stability and balance also helps a lot when downhill running
